• Edit photos and videos for client deliverables (under founder’s direction)
• Prepare and hand off content for founder review and approval before posting
• Light business prospecting and outreach research
• Occasional on-set PA work and BTS content capture at shoots
• Collaborate at co-working space sessions as needed
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled at LMU in Film, Communications, Marketing, or related field
• Proficient in DaVinci Resolve (ideal) and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Proficient in Adobe Lightroom or similar photo editing software
• Photoshop experience (a plus, not required)
• Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and social media best practices
• Some production or social media experience (personal projects count)
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
• Genuine passion for content creation and visual storytelling
Perks & Benefits:
• Build a real, publishable portfolio working on active client accounts across multiple industries
• One-on-one mentorship from the founder of a growing South Bay creative studio
• Gain experience across video production, photography, social media, and creative strategy
• On-set experience at real client shoots
• Letter of recommendation upon successful completion
• Flexible, hybrid schedule that works around your academic calendar
Schedule & Hours:
Part-time, hybrid position running through the end of summer (or the start of the fall semester). Primarily remote with occasional in-person sessions at a co-working space or on-location shoots. No more than 10-12 hours per week.
Compensation:
Unpaid - this is a portfolio and experience-focused opportunity for someone serious about breaking into the creative industry. As Studio Bloomfield continues to grow, there is opportunity for this role to evolve into something more - including potential paid or long-term positions for the right person.
