About the Role:
An internship with HFS allows students to be a part of dynamic and innovative projects, while providing ample mentoring and professional development opportunities. Working alongside leadership, HFS interns have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience. An internship with HFS will provide you with invaluable experience that you could utilize in any role, and it is Howmet’s goal to evaluate its interns for potential entry-level openings
Internship opportunities will be at one of our facilities located across Southern California: Carson, Torrance, Fullerton and City of Industry.
We are looking for interns in the following areas:
Manufacturing Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Research and Development
Preferred Qualifications:
3.0 GPA and above
Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
Prior Internship work experience.
Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date of Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
