Job Description

Bernards is looking for ambitious and enthusiastic students to join our fast-paced world as interns. As a member of the Risk and Safety team, you will play a key role in engaging with operational teams, and leaders across Bernards to help promote our safety culture and risk management practices.

Additionally, this internship will provide you with experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; and will provide a superb introduction to our activities. Networking with Risk professionals at a variety of levels in the org and interact with other teams throughout Bernards during your time here.

As a team member of the Risk and Safety Team, you will be partnered with specific team members to mentor and assist your learning journey. You will put your skills to the test and roll up your sleeves to complete projects and support teams that will teach you about the world of risk and safety, as well as contribute to the team’s success.

Qualifications

  • Researching laws and new topics

  • Gaining insights and advocating for new ideas

  • Getting team and stakeholder buy-in through written and verbal communication

  • Owning process efficiency projects to improve operational metrics

  • Supporting an end-to-end project as assigned during your internship
