Product Development/Operations Intern


Description: Parks Project is seeking an operations intern to support and learn from the product and supply chain teams. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the product creation landscape, including an understanding of production. The candidate will assist and contribute to development, planning, and logistics. Applicants with operations background are preferred. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, passionate about parklands, analytical, and have a demonstrated history of getting things done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in purchase order creation

  • Support in seasonal margin analysis

  • Support in transfer of finished goods from supplier to 3PL

  • Assist in seasonal order entry in ERP system

  • Organize direct to retailer shipments

  • Support in creating tech packs

  • Assist with art file revisions and product recoloring

  • Basic CAD and mockup support

  • Seasonal opportunities to support with sales pop ups and events

Requirements:

  • Working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Suite (specifically Illustrator/Photoshop)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience in apparel or retail a plus!

  • Light office work involved – some lifting, bending, and walking

  • Passion for the outdoors a plus!
